Q. How long until my item is dispatched?

A. We aim to dispatch items within one to two working days Monday to Friday. Our oil burners are made to order so please allow 2-3 days for these to be dispatched.

Q. Can I send an item to a different address as a gift?

A. Yes, we offer a non-branded delivery service so the gift will arrive with no mention of the order details. Simply add this request to the notes field at the checkout.

Q. How do I setup my new Oil Burner?

A. Our burners are posted in two pieces for safety and to protect the glass flask. Simply slide the copper tube into the wooden base when your burner arrives. Fill the glass flask about 1/3 full with tap warm water and then add a few (6 to 8) drops of your fragrance oil. Place a lit tealight directly under the flask and your burner will start to diffuse the scent once the water warms.

SAFETY - Never let the burner run dry. Keep the burner out of reach of children and pets.

Only use candles supplied by Empire Scent with you burner as larger candles can cause the water mixture to get to hot and boil.

Use no more than 10 drops of oil in mixture and never let the water level drop below 1cm.

Q. Do you offer refills for your Reed Diffusers?

A. We are just finalising our range of refills and they will hopefully be available on our website soon. If you require a refill in the meantime, please email us at info@empire-scent.co.uk to discuss.

Q. How do I use my new Reed Diffuser?

A. Below is a step by step guide to get your new Reed Diffuser setup.

1. Unscrew bottle lid and remove plastic travel bung from the bottle. Be careful not to spill! Replace screw top

2. Remove reeds from side of box, undo ribbon and place in the scent bottle.

3. Leave for a few seconds then remove the reeds and flip them round so the wet ends are sticking out.

4. Enjoy your scent! Rotate reeds as often as you like for a fresh boost of scent.
